A friend of mine "Ryan" came to me with a bit of a problem. He took his car to a macanic shop to get a safety done. He went back to pick up his car and what do you know they broke three studs on the right rear.
Rayn then gave me a call "Lee" and i told him to get the car towed up to Tireteam.
I took a look at it and told him no problem i will have it fixed in an hour.

This is a right up on how to replace wheel studs on a R32 Skyline.
Tools that you will need.
1. 21m socket
2. 17mm wrench
3. good hammer
4. a coupel of washers
5. braker bar
6. ratchet
7. new studs "maxima studs will work"

Step 1
Use the braker bar and the 21mm socket to loosen the wheel.

Step 2 jack up the car and take of the wheel
Now it should look like this.

Step 3
Take the 17mm wrench and take out the two bolts holding the caliper on
it will look like this.

Step 4
Once you take the caliper off you will need to remove the rotor. This is where the hammer comes in. What you want to do is hit the rotor from the front between the studs. This will brake it free from the hub. There is a parking brake inside the rotor that works like a drum brake and it mite take some convincing to get it off.
Once you get it off it will look like this.

Step 5
Now its time to get the broken studs out but dont worry it is the ez step.
All you do is simply take the hammer and hit the stud from the front and it will fall right out the back of the hub.

Step 6
Now it is time to put a new stud in. The first thing you want to do is fish the new stud in from the back of the hub. Once you get the stud in you want to hold it with your finger and put some washers over it. Once you have done that you want to put a bolt on and start tightening it by hand.
See image below.

Step 7
All you half to do now is put the rotor back on and the caliper. Then put the wheel back on and your done.
Thats it its that ez so next time you need to have a stud put in dont go running to the mecanicas try and follow this right up and see how you do.
